The trainee must pull the pin and spray briefly into the vacuum to ensure that the extinguisher is working properly before being placed in front of the fire.

Installing a fire extinguisher
You might want to temporarily install a fire extinguisher, for example, to check a door before opening it. Now you can!
Simply press the left-hand lever buttons to deactivate the extinguisher manually.
In this case, the extinguisher does not fall out and remains in its last position.
The joystick can be removed and the trainee instantly regains the use of his or her hands to open the door or move around.
If he wants to take the extinguisher back, all he has to do is reactivate it.

An English-language version (🇬🇧) of FIRE VR and a version integrating Swiss emergency telephone numbers (🇨🇭) can be activated in the settings menu.
