Training solutions

What makes your solutions different?

In addition to offering trainees a memorable, realistic learning experience, our virtual reality training courses are designed to facilitate the work of in-house trainers. To this end, we systematically call on trainers who are experts in their respective fields to build our simulations.

They are based on top-of-the-range standalone VR headsets that are light to carry and easy to set up, so that trainers can be sure of rapid equipment installation and an experience that is both realistic and easy to use for trainees.

Why offer a subscription system?

We believe it's essential for trainers to be able to benefit from solutions that are scalable in terms of regulations, graphics and hardware. Our solutions are marketed in the form of annual licenses, which guarantees costs over time.

What's included in our licenses?

Subscribing to a license gives you access to the Launcher (application manager) and one or more virtual reality training courses, along with their management interface.

You'll also have access to our set-up assistance, regular updates, customer service, and a wide range of marketing materials (videos, kakemonos, brochures, etc.).

The subscription does not include the headset and controllers (price on 01/01/2019 for 64 GB headset and controllers: €449), nor the trainer's computer, nor the wi-fi router (price on 01/01/2019: €39).

However, most recent computers are compatible with our training courses (unlike PC wired headsets), and the trainer will generally not have to buy a new one.

Do you also sell equipment?

It's not our core business, but we can support our customers for whom it's important.

The Oculus Quest 1 and 2 headsets can be purchased online at Meta (www.meta.com) or in multimedia stores (Fnac, Boulanger, Darty...).

What equipment is used in our VR training courses?

Irwino's training courses are based on the latest-generation stand-alone VR headset, the Meta Quest 2. Supplied with two intuitive controllers, this device offers a highly immersive virtual reality experience, enabling the user to interact with and move around the virtual environment.

Wireless, lightweight and very easy to use, it offers the same functionality as first-generation wired headsets (Oculus Rift/HTC Vive), without any of their shortcomings (bulky, heavy, complicated, buggy, expensive, etc.). With a price four times lower than a wired configuration, it's ideal for training groups of professionals in the workplace.

Is there a risk of motion sickness?

Our solution doesn't cause any inconvenience, because for over 5 years we have scrupulously respected the highest standards of virtual reality (image refresh speed, means of displacement, etc.).

Are the headphones wired to the computer? Do I need external peripherals?
  • Our system works with a wireless headset to give you the ultimate in convenience.
  • It comes with a small router (€40) and requires no Internet access.
Are there any product-related hygiene standards?
  • Hygiene accessories (silicone masks) are available for perfect cleaning of helmets and controllers.
Is after-sales service included in the license?
